Battle of the Future Buddhas (BOTFB) stands among the most influential and innovative acts in the history of Swedish Goa Trance. Formed in 1994 in Uppsala, Sweden, the project was founded by David Tingsgård, Magnus Bladh, and Johan Rosén, whose visionary approach helped shape the evolution of psychedelic music throughout the golden era of Goa Trance. Renowned for their unmistakable fusion of classic Goa Trance, Scandinavian forest psychedelia, experimental sound design, cinematic atmospheres, and playful storytelling, BOTFB forged a sound that became synonymous with the legendary "Uppsala Sound"—a darker, deeper, and highly immersive interpretation of Goa Trance that remains timeless on dancefloors worldwide. Today, founding member David Tingsgård continues to carry the Battle of the Future Buddhas legacy forward through powerful live performances and new productions, while Magnus Bladh and Johan Rosén continue to contribute behind the scenes on selected projects, preserving the project's original creative spirit. Over the years, Battle of the Future Buddhas have remained a sought-after act at the world's premier retro and old-school psychedelic festivals, performing at internationally acclaimed events including ZNA Gathering, Apsara Festival, Balkan Goa Fanatics, VÉR – Exploring the Roots, as well as numerous Suntrip Records showcases and leading Retro Goa gatherings across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. More than simply a DJ, Chema Escudero is a guardian of Goa Trance history, preserving the original psychedelic sound through authentic, all-vinyl performances that bridge generations of dancefloor culture. Based in Madrid, Spain, Chema has been collecting and spinning Goa Trance records since 1994, inspired by the British and German underground scenes. His high-energy sets are driven by uplifting melodies, acid-infused 303 grooves, and a carefully curated selection of classics and rare gems from legendary labels such as Matsuri, Koyote, Flying Rhino, TIP Records, Transient, Symbiosis, Phantasm, and Celtic Records. Formerly an official DAT Records label DJ (2015-2024) and currently representing Suntrip Records, Chema is widely respected for his technical mastery of vinyl and his unwavering dedication to the authentic Goa Trance sound. Beyond the stage, he continues to preserve the genre's legacy through his YouTube channel, showcasing rare recordings from his extensive collection. His journey has taken him to internationally renowned clubs and festivals across Europe and beyond, including Van Vas, Specka, Mimesis Club Barcelona, Apsara Festival, Hueznar Festival, ZNA Gathering, VER – Exploring the Roots (Goa), Art of Sound Belgium, Gagarin Club, Flopi Flopo, Friday of Retro, Maskadelic, Sycho, Rogatka in Israel, A Hop Into Goa, Ohm Spirit festival in France and the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). Throughout his career, he has shared the stage with legendary artists such as Etnica, X-Dream, The Muses Rapt, Green Nuns of the Revolution, Ganguru, Tsuyoshi Suzuki, Jaïa, Total Eclipse, Shakta, and many more..

Ray of Light is the psytrance project of Michael Revach, a young and passionate producer based in Israel. After completing his sound engineering degree at Kinneret College, Michael is now ready to deliver cutting-edge sounds and infectious grooves to the global trance scene. The project revolves around the concept of light within darkness – the belief that even in the darkest moments, there's always a Ray of Light. Drawing inspiration from 90s and early 2000s psytrance, his music blends groovy, ecstatic energy with soul-stirring melodies and powerful full-on rhythms. Each track is a journey – honoring the roots of classic psytrance while pushing the sound forward with modern production techniques. Backed by a deep understanding of sound design and acoustics, Ray of Light crafts tracks with precise, psychedelic textures and crisp, high-impact mixdowns. Known for his high-energy live sets, he transforms dancefloors into emotional experiences – guiding the crowd from dark, hypnotic grooves into radiant morning bliss. Marcus C. Maichel and Jan Mueller aka X-DREAM also known as Rough & Rush. The pioneers of space techno and probably the most iconic live act of the psychedelic trance scene, the originators of techno trance and full on. They are considered the most influential act of the scene since the early 90’s till now. Based in Germany, Marcus C. Maichel and Jan Mueller began writing together in 1989 and first recorded as X-Dream in 1991. Marcus was influenced by electro, hip hop and reggae; he started making electronic music in 1986. Mueller trained as a sound engineer towards the end of the 80’s and the pair met up to work on a session together in 1989. At first they concentrated on a techno sound having some material released on Tunnel Records. However, after experiencing the trance scene in Hamburg during the early 90s, they switched to that style and subsequently made a number of releases under such names as The Delta, Children Of Paradise, The Pollinator, Moondust and XME over the next few years. Between 1996 and 1998, they broke through on the international trance scene, releasing music on Blue Room Released, gaining strong support from most famous and leading top DJ’s of all around the world. Their tracks like "Freak" and "Panic in Paradise" were the first ever full on tracks that inspired hundreds of well established modern trance producers from Astrix to GMS. Their mostly acclaimed third album “Radio” was released in 1998 after their second album “Our Own Happiness” and marked the history of new sound and new sonic standards in trance, it is still considered one of the best made albums of the 90s in the genre. In 2000 they released the heavier tech-trance album “Irritant”, followed in 2004 by “We Interface” featuring Ariel Elektron on vocals. This album was ahead of its time, both musically and lyrically. With tracks like "The 1st", "We Interface"( the utopian futuristic anthem that predicted the future 20 years ahead), "Quantumlab" became dancefloor anthems of that era and still could be heard in many DJ sets today on any trance floor. In 2019 Nina Kraviz rediscovered their track "Superintelligence" that was re-released on her label TRIP, it became a huge hit in the modern techno scene and has been played by almost all top DJ’s. The latest X-Dream release produced by Alex Bohke Tolstey (aka Acid Black) as a tribute remixed album, went to number one in all psy trance global charts and was recognised as best release of 2017 including remixes by Shpongle, Man With No Name, GMS, Extrawelt, Eat Static, Saafi Brothers, Atmos, Tsuyoshi Suzuki, Astral Projection and others. Their track “We Interface” got a new life in 2025 remixed by progressive house and melodic techno superstars Victor Ruiz and Alex Stein. Psy Mama Indira Paganotto plays X-Dream and The Delta tracks almost in every set. X-Dream has recently collaborated with artists such as Red Axes, Out of Orbit, and Captain Hook.
